R&D department is proud to announce that the Audio2Note algorithm is incorporated in the new version of Ableton Live 9. Date: March 5.

Completed after more than 5 years of research on the estimation of multiple fundamental frequencies on polyphonic signals and 2 years of collaborative development carried out by IRCAM and Ableton, this algorithm allows the automatic transcription of polyphonic music into a MIDI file, offering new means of creating MIDI files via audio decoding.
