Karlheinz Stockhausen Jean-François Heisser. Jean-Frédéric Neuburger
Academy
Mantra: no theme, no face, no melody, just a "magic formula" following the Sanskrit tradition. In 1970, Stockhausen created this polyrhythmic, polyphonic work based on a formula of 13 sounds. His inexhaustible invention is carried out with two pianos equipped with small percussions, augmented by processing techniques opera by ring modulation. Jean-François Heisser and Jean-Frédéric Neuburger have created the subject of a workshop-concert from this visionary journey.
