Musical gesture: Among Composition, Performance, and Perception

This seminar compares different approaches to the process of musical creation during the 20th and 21st centuries in musicology, psychology, socio-ethnology, and genetic criticism. Focusing on the re-evaluation of gesture and movement as a possible "film parameter" of music, this conference will feature several presentations of current projects, explanations on artistic experiments, and more.
