Prerequisite
Successful completion of the introductory OpenMusic training courses (OpenMusic: Introduction and OpenMusic: From Analysis to Writing) and OpenMusic Audio or proof of equivalent knowledge.
Upon completion of this course participants will have a better understanding of the OpenMusic structure, and especially the strategies to control synthesis from written algorithms. Participants will also learn the basics of programming in Common-Lisp.
Description
During this expert-level program, participants look closely into the OpenMusic environment beginning with an introduction to textual programming in Common-Lisp:
- musical productions created with OpenMusic
- an initiation to writing object libraries for OpenMusic in Common-Lisp

Didactic Material and Assessments
Hands-on work sessions take place on individual workstations (iMac, MIDI keyboard, headphones). Instructors use a workstation connected to a video projector and a quadraphonic sound system. Either paper or electronic teaching aids will be available for students.
Participants must bring their own laptop computers. The latest version of OpenMusic must be installed on the laptop.
