Upon completion of the three Max/MSP programs participants will be able to program their own complex audio-processing patches, analyze and synthesize sound signals, chose the tools best adapted for their needs and include them in a program for real-time applications.
Description
This specialized course, focused on the idea of interaction, lets participants explore interactive patch programming and advanced MIDI generation before learning to detect, follow, stock, and use the data that come from audio analysis (amplitude, pitch, specter) when using interactive musical applications. The different libraries developed at IRCAM – libraries of spectral descriptors and MuBu libraries – will also be the focus of this course.
