These software programs dedicated to musical creation, multimedia Sound Design, music for films, and the creation of hybrid voices let the user operate at the very heart of the sound material. With AudioSculpt, the user "sculpts" the sound visually, applying a number of processing techniques. Modalys, a program for virtual instrument making, lets the user's imagination run free making it possible to create instruments from physical objects such as strings, plates, or tubes.
