For several years, the Centre Pompidou and IRCAM have been testing a pilot project in art education that builds bridges between visual art, sonic art, and new technologies: The Studios of Creation. Intended for vocational high school students, this program also takes into consideration the new arts program in the French public school system. A large number of films, documents, and didactic tools available for teachers and cultural institutions have been gathered and can be found online on the Studios of Creation website.

Every June, IRCAM and the Centre Pompidou invite partners from both the French national education system and the arts world to submit projects. These partners are interested by the development of autonomous projects in France and are prepared to work with the Centre and IRCAM in a voluntary action of shared reflection of their experiences on the "Studios of Creation" platform created for this purpose.

Eight new projects in France recieved the Foundation's seal of approval in 2012-2013.
Twenty-two structures in the regions of Rhône-Alpes, Auvergne, Aquitaine, and Haute-Normandie have come together this year to implement the Studios of Creation projects locally.
