The interpretation master classes bring together the 20th century repertoire and contemporary creation with the goal of going beyond historical specializations. They offer special access to a selection of reference mixed-music works, where sound projection and spatialization is an integral part of the performance.

Prior to the academy, students must prepare the production of the electronic element of a work, or its possibly a technical update of the work. Meetings with musicians may also be organized.
During the academy, members of the IRCAM team (computer music designers and sound engineers) will teach students who will take part in the performance of a work, and take them from rehearsals to the concert.
